Daniel at Red Hat

Daniel came to stay with me for a few days. I had a spare cube next to my desk which he sat in. He 'worked' there a few days.

There was one day I was a few rows of cubes away and heard bagpipe music. I knew it wasn't one of my techs. Obviosally I walked up on Daniel to see a bagpipe video playing.

Job (cont.)

So I moved into my new apartment. It's a nice 2 bed 2 bath, 1150 sq foot. Its such a nice location. Its literally 3 minutes away from work. I wake up and leave at 8:50 to be at work by 9, and I'm nice & early. Today was the first day of work, and let me say it was quite boring. But it was necessary. They talked about all the things I shouldn't talk about in public due to the fact Redhat is a publically traded company. Talked about their vision, the Redhat 'brand', the way Redhat does things... Yea, there were litterly times I had was nodding and fighting to stay awake. That also could have been due to the fact that I didnt have much sleep the previous nights. And tonight isn't looking to be much different.

Job

So I was at Carowinds last week and got a call from Redhat. It turns out that they found my resume online and wanted to offer me a job as a support tech member. I go in for the interview. It went rather well if you ask me. Friday was the day I was supposta find out if I got the job. Well, long story short, I got the job and I'll be moving to Raleigh next week.

It all kinda worked out just right. I wasn't signed up for classes this first summer term, so I wasn't in school. I was able to unenroll from the classes I was signed up for without any problems. And I have a friend who's looking for a place to stay, and she wants to move into this apartment. From her moving in, I get a bonus for referring a tenant. It all kinda fell in my lap and worked out just right. The next thing that needs to work out just right is a place to stay up in Raleigh.
