Vonage

So I just got the Vonage phone jack in the mail today. And I called my two brothers. I have to say the quality was indistinguisable (if thats a real word). It sounded like a normal phone conversation. It sounded even better then cell phone conversations. So I'm very happy with it so far.

I have a cable modem using Road Runner. I tested talking when my upload was maxed out and when my download was maxed out. When the upload was maxed out, my voice sounded like it was electronic. When the download was maxed out, it sounded like the other person was getting close to the end of a cordless phone rang. But you could still carry a conversation without much problem.

So I moved into my new apartment. It's a nice 2 bed 2 bath, 1150 sq foot. Its such a nice location. Its literally 3 minutes away from work. I wake up and leave at 8:50 to be at work by 9, and I'm nice & early. Today was the first day of work, and let me say it was quite boring. But it was necessary. They talked about all the things I shouldn't talk about in public due to the fact Redhat is a publically traded company. Talked about their vision, the Redhat 'brand', the way Redhat does things... Yea, there were litterly times I had was nodding and fighting to stay awake. That also could have been due to the fact that I didnt have much sleep the previous nights. And tonight isn't looking to be much different.
